Booking Confirmations & Boarding Notifications

  • Passengers will receive a shuttle confirmation by email and/or text message approximately 48 hours prior to their scheduled departure.
  • Passengers will receive a notification by email and/or text message when their shuttle is ready for boarding, along with the location of the shuttle.
  • Passengers should be prepared to board promptly upon receiving the notification to help ensure an on-time departure.
  • Passengers are responsible for reviewing their shuttle confirmation and ensuring that all booking details are correct, including the date, departure time, pickup location, and destination. Any errors, changes, or concerns regarding the booking should be communicated to Kootenay Transit as soon as possible.
  • Passengers are responsible for providing a valid email address and/or mobile phone number when making a booking to ensure they receive shuttle confirmations and notifications.

Rossland – Kelowna Airport Boarding & Departure

  • Rossland – Passengers departing from the Prestige Mountain Resort are asked to be ready to board at 7:45 a.m. PST on Columbia Ave, in front of the Prestige. Passengers departing from RED Mountain are asked to be ready to board at 8:00 a.m. PST, in front of The Josie Hotel. The shuttle will depart from Rossland ahead of schedule once all booked passengers are boarded or, at the latest, 8:30 a.m. PST.
  • Kelowna – Passengers departing from Kelowna are asked to be ready to board at 1:00 p.m. PST. The shuttle will depart from Kelowna ahead of schedule once all booked passengers are boarded or, at the latest, 2:30 p.m. PST.

Arrival & Departure Times

  • Arrival and departure times are approximate and subject to change. Kootenay Transit is not responsible for delays caused by weather, road conditions, road closures, traffic, unexpected mechanical issues, airline or airport delays, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Luggage & Ski/Snowboard Equipment Policy

  • Passengers are permitted two (2) pieces of luggage (or one (1) piece of luggage and one (1) ski/snowboard bag) and one (1) small carry-on bag. Requests for additional luggage must be made at least 48 hours prior to departure and are subject to available vehicle capacity.

Flight Delays & Cancellations

  • Passengers experiencing a flight delay, cancellation, or other travel disruption should contact Kootenay Transit as soon as possible. We will work with passengers to determine available options based on the circumstances.
